Dear Mark Zuckerberg, I hope you're happy knowing that you've taken [  ] away from [  ]

Dear Mark Zuckerberg, I hope you're happy knowing that you've taken my [father] away from [me]

gone are the days where i'd be scolded for watching YouTube at the dinner table.

we've reached a new era where my father doomscrolls facebook short-form content during all of his meals.

but you haven't even heard the worst: he unknowingly consumes AI-generated slop.

Dear Mark Zuckerberg, I hope you're happy knowing that you've taken my [mother] away from [me]

but perhaps there's some hope; let's discuss this matter with my mother!

oh wait, she's upstairs, lying down, doing the same, fucking thing.

Dear Mark Zuckerberg, I hope you're happy knowing that you've taken the [humanity] away from [humans]

social media was intended to bring people together; to maintain relationships that would've otherwise been tenuous.

but instead, it's constructed a rift in human connection.

people, not just my parents, would rather scroll on their phones than observe the world around them, or strike up a conversation with fellow humans—a fad i've noticed during all of my TTC commutes as a non-scroller.

it's a dystopia that unfortunately only few can see and recognize.

but to all the soulless corporations and pigs who run them, i really hope you find fulfillment in being selfish; else, the rest of us, including you, are suffering for absolutely nothing.
